Christmas Tablescapes – I’ll Be Home For Christmas

December 3, 2016

Todays post is a little late today but that is because we spent the morning on a breakfast and Christmas tree hunt date! (Yes we did find a gorgeous grand fir that fits our home perfectly!)

I was inspired to do this 2 part series on how to style a hot cocoa & dessert bar and do multiple Christmas tablescapes in two different color schemes. Today I’m sharing 2 table designs and 1 hot cocoa bar/dessert table in the theme I’m calling “I’ll be home for Christmas” and when I think of the Christmases I grew up with the colors were always rich greens, and reds and golds through the whole house so I really wanted to do some Christmas tablescapes to go back to that but bring a big splash of elegance to it as well!

Our Hot cocoa & dessert bar was a lot of fun to make! A lot of the items are just things we have around the house because I wanted to show you can put together a lovely display without breaking the bank! The log rounds and serving ware are from Wander, a new rental company in Bellingham WA & the runner is from Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals!

Our first Christmas Tablescape is centered around the gorgeous invites, menus and place cards we got from Noted Occasions, the bright Christmas red you usually see was swapped for a more deep burgundy red to add some rich sophistication to this setting. All of the silverware and the gorgeous green goblets are from Wander, and all linens are from Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals, chairs are provided by Pacific Party Canopies!

The second Christmas tablescape is focused more on the evergreen side of Christmas, lets face it the Christmas tree is my favorite Christmas decoration in the house so why not use that an the color inspiration for on of our Christmas tablescapes?!

Table 3 is probably my favorite out of all of the Christmas Tablescapes because of the stunning center piece, half of an elk rack! You could do so many things to this to change it up each year, we kept it fairly simple with using just evergreen clippings to go around it to not take away from it’s wow factor! to take it ever more rustic you can swap out the gold chargers to log rounds!

Merry Christmas everyone! Can’t wait to show you next week the White Christmas themes! <3
