Chelanne & Nick’s Deception Pass Engagement session, with part of the trip over at Rosario Beach was, in one word, STUNNING! On this mellow and sunny May day, we played in the sand, walked on the winding paths in the woods, wandered through the tide pools and danced on the bluffs and cliffs. In short, we adventured.
When a bride and groom just fit together like Chelanne & Nick does, it’s such a beautiful thing to be able to capture! They said they were awkward (everyone does, but no one really is!) but in front of the camera their giggles, snuggles, laughs, quirks and kisses showed us they are so NOT awkward that it was ridiculous.
These two met similarily to Jeff & I as in it was through social media! Nick was instantly drawn to Chelanne’s when saw a video of her singing and playing guitar that she posted on Instagram and he sent a message and the rest is a wonderful history! Two years after their first date, Nick took Chelanne back to Lombardi’s where they had a fantastic dinner then after they decided to walk on the board walk, and that’s when Nick popped the question as the evening set in! (Like seriously, can we travel back in time and capture this too please?!)
We were so excited when they loved the idea of a Deception Pass engagement session because Adventure Engagements get us right in the feels! We get to spend even more time with our awesome couples in an epic location we don’t normally get to go to! And the pictures always blow even us away! (Brides even if you pick a package without an adventure engagement you can still upgrade to one!)
We are so excited for their wedding at Stilly Brook Farm this August as we know it will be the most perfect day ever!
